A Day in the Life

The year is almost over and I have been negligent of this blog and the commitments I made the past quarter. Plus, I’ve taken an indefinite leave of absence here. So today, I’ll catch you up a bit on everything that’s been happening and what to expect from here on out. Going AWOL For the 3rd quarter of this year, I committed to creating content for this blog. I made one, and that was it. I never got to follow through with the other content ideas that I planned, until such time that I got completely busy preparing for a…

It’s been a while since I last published an actual blog entry here. It’s the last month of this quarter and I have not been able to consistently create content here. There are reasons for that, which I’ll be talking about in another post. For now, I’m quite thankful that August is finally done. There were so many challenges for me throughout the entire month, that I feel like I’ve grown up a bit. (I sure do hope so!) Anyway, so just a recap of all my shenanigans last August: Week 1: August 1 – 5 I welcomed the month…

If I were to describe the first half of 2017 in 3 words, it would be: decisive, full of detours and changes. I started the year with this theme: Fight and focus towards finishing my music education. Early in the year, I planned to go back to my old major, which is Music Education, for the reason that it will allow me to finish my degree faster. April-May Update

Last April, I have come to a decision to pursue freelance teaching. I already have experiences in tutoring, private music lessons on the piano, and also on the ukulele, and I love and enjoy doing it, so I thought it would be perfect. Goals last April, 1 Big Focus, Small Goals, Stepping out of the Comfort Zone The first thing I considered was visibility. And what came to mind was establishing an online identity, aside from my personal social media accounts. So I decided to revamp and relaunch my blog, with the intent to use it as an avenue for my portfolios…

This entry has been sitting in my drafts for how many days now. I’ve been meaning to finish it but there’s always something that prevents me from doing so, like holiday affairs, going back to school, and getting sick. Still sick, btw. BUT, I’m finally doing [finishing] this once and for all. Inspired by Miss Arriane Serafico, I have decided to do this annually now, ideally, before New Year’s Eve, but yeah, life happened. Oh, and the guide questions are also from Miss Arriane. Just a quick look back on 2016. What are the 3 things I’m most proud of accomplishing…

Five months has already passed since the year started and a lot has happened. While I cannot disclose every single one of them, I am assured that all of those happenings, though both sad and wonderful, not just for myself, but for others who have been involved, have been a learning experience. I have learned a lot about myself, and what I am capable of. For the first few months this year, I have decided on my top 3 goals that I want to accomplish by the time the year ends, and as of this post I have already accomplished 2…
