Misty is a free-spirited ukulele-wielding cat-lover, full-time musical theatre fangirl, beginner yogi, and a late starter on sustainable living.
She enjoys teaching and believes in the power of music education, the written word, and the arts, to inspire and make a difference in the lives of the children she teaches and learns with.
She mostly thrives on human interaction, but on some days prefers to be left alone reading a book, playing the ukulele/flute/piano, and on rare occasions, writing on her blog.
Sometimes she can also be seen tagging along with his significant other, Quintin, in his photoshoots.
Misty believes in her heart that she’s designed for something greater, regardless of her status in life, and works hard to realize that.
There’s nothing that she’s proud of, except that God has continued to work marvelously in her, and she continues to dedicate whatever she has into fulfilling God’s purpose in her life. She struggles hard, but she keeps on.
Her anthem in life is Kristin Chenoweth’s song “I Was Here“.
I wanna’ do something that matters
Say something different
Something that sets the whole world on its ear
I wanna’ do something better with the time I was given
I wanna’ try to touch a few hearts in this life
Leave nothing less than something that says “I was here”.
This blog serves as the space for Misty’s thoughts, creative works, crazy ideas, passion projects, and identity in this digital world.
